Description
Steering column stalk switches DELPHI COM2003 for CITROËN C8 and PEUGEOT 807 from 2005. They control fog lights, trip computer, ESP, rear wiper, cruise control and car radio (the radio control stalk must be supplied or transferred).
These genuine-style multifunction stalks fit the electrical and ergonomic layout used on Citroën C8 and Peugeot 807 models and provide reliable control over lighting, driver aids and infotainment functions. The unit is commonly sought by mechanics and DIYers by its product codes, so listing the part number in searches increases findability. Ideal for workshops and home repairers looking to restore full steering-column functionality after wear or electrical faults.

Installation Recommendations
Work Should Be Performed By A Trained Technician Or An Experienced DIYer. Before starting, disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait several minutes to allow stored energy in the airbag circuit to dissipate. Remove the steering column trim covers to access the stalk mounting screws and electrical connector. Unplug the connector, remove the retaining screws, and replace the stalk. If radio controls are mounted on a separate stalk, transfer the radio control stalk or provide the required module as noted. Reassemble trims, reconnect the battery, and verify all functions (lights, wipers, ESP indicators, cruise control and radio controls) before road testing. Use appropriate Torx or Phillips drivers as required and avoid forcing plastic clips to prevent damage.
Most Common Failure Reasons
These stalk assemblies generally fail due to normal wear from repeated use, contact oxidation or contamination from moisture and dirt, and internal switch contact fatigue. Symptoms include intermittent or non-functional indicators for fog lights, rear wiper or cruise control, unresponsive trip computer navigation, or malfunctioning radio controls. In some cases electrical faults elsewhere in the vehicle (corroded connectors, damaged wiring) can mimic a stalk failure, so confirm the fault by inspecting connectors and wiring harness before replacing the unit.
Replacing the stalk typically restores full steering-column control and eliminates intermittent electrical faults caused by worn contacts. Because the radio control may be on a separate sub-stalk or require transferring, check the existing assembly during removal to ensure you preserve any necessary sub-components.
