Original filter (air filter cabinet) for PSA engines 1.6 HDI DV6. This suction cabinet is designed for selected Citroën and Peugeot models and is used to safely store and seal the air filter, damping of suction noise and proper intake air to the turbocharger. Air Weight (MAF) – Air weight sensor is not included.
Correctly sealing airbox is essential for engine performance, consumption and lifetime of the turbo. A cracked cabinet, damaged lid paws or leaking connections can cause fake air suction, irregular operation and increased consumption. Replacing a defective filterbox to restore the tightness of the intake and a stable 1.6 HDI operation.

Exchange – Brief procedure: Disconnect the suction hose to the turbo and ventilate the crankcase, release the holders and screws of the cabinet, remove the old filterbox and transfer rubber silentblocks or inserts as needed. When mounting, check the condition of the seal, the correct lid and the fixed clip clip. After installation, put on a clean air filter and check that there are no leaks on the suction route.
Typical defects of the original part: damaged mounts and lid buckles, cracks in plastic, running storage, hardened seals. They are reflected in the sykot of suction, power fluctuations and higher consumption. You will prevent undesirable suction and excessive filter clogging.
