SERVO MOTOR HEATING FOR CITROEN PEUGEOT
The original VALEO heating servomotor for Citroën and Peugeot is used to control the flaps in a unit of heating/air conditioning (mixing of warm/cold air, distribution to windshield/legs, etc.). Thanks to the accurate position of the flap position, it ensures a stable temperature in the cab and the correct direction of air flow.
This part is sought after by manifestations as an irregular temperature on the one hand, weak greening of glass, clicking or knocking from the dashboard, or air conditioning error messages. Typical causes are wear of gears or position sensors. Replacement of the actuator is a quick way to restore the correct function of HVAC without having to remove the entire heating.
Installation usually takes place under the dashboard on the heating body (often from the driver or passenger). It is recommended to compare the position and shape of the drive shaft, the orientation of the stops and the design of the connector with the original piece. After installation, it is advisable to initialize/calibrate the flaps – ideally diagnostics (diameter/lexia) or cycle on/off the ignition and by setting the air conditioning to the extreme positions. Attention: there are more very similar servomotors in the system (mixing, distribution, recirculation); Always choose the part by code and location.
