Original used heater and air conditioning control panel for first-series Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107. This is an OEM mechanical control unit that operates temperature, airflow direction and the A/C engagement via cable linkages (bowden cables). The panel is offered in excellent condition with intact cable end-stops; the actual bowden cables are not supplied.
Function And Common Failures
The panel provides direct mechanical control of heater flaps, temperature blend and A/C on/off. Replacement And Installation
Access is through the centre dash trim. Typical replacement steps: remove the radio/vent trim frame, undo the screws retaining the control panel, unplug the electrical connector for the A/C switch and illumination, and unclip the cable end fittings. When fitting new cables or reattaching existing ones, set the levers and flaps to their extreme positions (for example fully cold and face vents) then attach the cables so end-stops seat correctly. Check that each clip is fully engaged and that no cable is kinked or trapped to ensure smooth operation.
