Original gas pedal (acceleration pedal) Bosch for Citroën and Peugeot cars with electronic throttle control. This is a used dismantled part, taken from a Peugeot 206, year 2009. Thanks to the identical catalog numbers, it is suitable as a direct replacement for a faulty pedal position sensor in PSA cars that use this type.
Function and benefit: The pedal contains an integrated position sensor (so-called potentiometer/APS), which converts the position of the pedal into an electrical signal for the engine control unit. A faulty sensor is manifested by late or no throttle response, rev fluctuations, hibernation, and pedal sensor error messages. Replacement with a genuine Bosch part will restore correct acceleration response and engine running stability.
