Installation Recommendations

Locate the BSM in the engine bay (position varies by model), remove any protective covers, unplug connectors by releasing their locks, and remove retaining screws or clips. Install the unit carefully, secure all fasteners to the correct torque, reconnect connectors ensuring full engagement, replace covers and reconnect the battery. After installation, verify engine start, fuel pump activation and all affected electrical circuits. Use dielectric spray or contact cleaner on connector pins if corrosion is present and ensure all seals are intact.
How To Replace
- Disconnect negative battery terminal.
- Remove engine bay covers to access the BSM module.
