This part is designed for the first generation of Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107 (about 2005–2014) in versions of air conditioning. Typical symptoms of fans defect heating: fluctuating or missing air flow, noisy operation (whistling, scrubbing), vibration or odor after overheating. If the fan works only on some speeds, a separate resistance (resistor) of the fan is also a frequent cause – but the engine often shows noise or stuck in worn bearings and cartridges.
Installation is usually from the space below the dashboard on the passenger side. The procedure generally includes the removal of the lower cover, disconnecting the electric connector and release of the fastening screws of the fan. We also recommend checking the status of the regulation resistance and replace the cabin (pollen) filter to ensure the correct flow and quiet operation.
To verify compatibility, compare the OE numbers and shape of the connector with the original part in your car. In case of uncertainties we recommend checking according to the VIN and the equipment of the car (with air conditioning).
