Overview
Left-side exterior mirror assembly designed for Citroën C5 vehicles. This unit is supplied as the mirror housing (skeleton) including the internal electronics: electric adjustment motor and heating element. Mirror glass and outer decorative cover are not included and can be purchased separately. Intended for driver side installation.

Installation Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid electrical shorts.
- Remove the interior door trim and the small triangular trim at the mirror base to access mounting nuts.
- Unplug the electrical connector for the mirror electronics.
- Unscrew the mounting nuts, remove the old assembly and fit the new unit, then reconnect the electric connector and reassemble trims.
- Test adjustment and heating functions before final reassembly.
Common Failure Modes & Lifespan
Mirror failures are commonly caused by impact damage, water ingress leading to corrosion of connectors, worn adjustment motors or defective heating elements.
