Always check the status of the fabric and the undaminess of the latches and locks.
When to replace the part: after the system is activated in the accident, while permanently blocking the reel, slow/chosen winding, visible damage or fraying of the belt, or in corrosion of the mechanism. Dust and moisture affect the function of the winch, so the correct assembly and cleanliness of the surroundings are important.
