Cablefish with Citroën C – Crosser and Peugeot 4007 shifting. Complete set includes gearshift (bowden) and shifting mechanism for manual transmission control. Ideal solution for wear of original rods, difficult or inaccurate shifting and excessive will of the gearshift lever. It corresponds to the original OE/OEM dog codes, which makes it easier to verify compatibility.
The function of this part is to transmit the gearshift movement to the gear selector. In older cars, the problem is a frequent cause of roping, out of plastic joints or cracked pins, which is manifested by rigid running, inaccurate inclusion or knocking in the backdrop. Installation usually requires access from the interior and the engine compartment: the removal of the center tunnel and the release of the backdrop, disconnecting the ball pins on the gearbox, clinging the cable pipelines from the brackets and the subsequent deployment of the new assembly including securing in holders. After assembly, we recommend checking the free and smooth operation of all speeds and compare the length of the rope line and the shape of the endings with the original part.
