Original rear left lamp bulb socket for Peugeot 3008 first generation (T84). This bulb holder replaces a worn or damaged part and restores the reliable function of the rear lights. The socket ensures the attachment and electrical connection of the bulbs for the position, brake, direction and rear fog lights on the left side. In older cars, a burnt-out contact, corrosion of the surfaces or a loose bulb is a common problem – the result is light outages or a malfunction message on the instrument panel. Replacing the base itself is a quick and cost-effective solution compared to a complete replacement of the entire lamp.
When the socket leaves: typically after prolonged exposure to moisture, when the lamp is leaking, or after using bulbs with inappropriate wattage. Manifestations include irregular flashing of the turn signal, non-functioning brake or marker light or local overheating and browned contacts.
Installation: access is from the luggage compartment. Disassemble the cover, loosen the lamp fixing nuts, pull out the complete light, disconnect the connector and remove the base from the lamp body (usually secured with latches). Before fitting a new socket, we recommend checking the lamp seal, cleaning the connector and replacing the bulbs with quality 12V pieces of the same wattage. After installation, test all functions of the left rear light.
