This is the part used in very good condition, ideal as a quick and cost -effective replacement for a damaged or weathered hose.
The
hose ensures the coolant circulation between the engine and the cooler/heating circuit. The replacement is recommended for cracks, softening of the material, spots from buckles or signs of leakage (wet spots, sweet smell of refrigerant, frequent liquid filling). In these small three -cylinder 1, the material of the hoses is tired due to time and thermal stress; leaks often appear in areas at the neck of the radiator or thermostat.
Installation is a direct replacement piece per piece. Recommended procedure: Drain the coolant, release the buckles, disconnect the old hose and clean the bearing surfaces. Put the new hose without twisting, use the new clip of the correct width and torque of the tightening, add the liquid according to the manufacturer’s specifications and vent the system carefully. Check tightness after the first rides. Buckles are not included.
